Aydin Momtaz
Being
the skinniest asthmatic kid in the school, Aydin's interest in sports started early. Observing Bruce Lee in the movies, Carl Lewis on the track and Michael Jordan on the basketball court, he realised they all have a common quality - the determination to be the greatest in their field and not be afraid to push the boundaries. This led to Aydin himself making sport a part of his daily life and in doing so, beating his asthma.
As a professional fitness model for the past 12 years, Aydin has been featured in health, fitness and lifestyle magazines thoughout the world. During this time, he has trained with professionals in many different sports and learnt a variety of techniques which has enabled him to create his own unique training methods incorporating muscle building, fat loss, core stability, flexibility, balance and stamina.
Aydin travelled regularly to Dubai over the past eight years before basing himself here more permanently in 2009. During a training workshop he was introduced to Technogym’s Kinesis machine which has enabled him to break away from traditional training methods and adopt interesting, functional and fun sessions. Aydin is Ignite’s head Kinesis trainer as well as a PT and military bootcamp instructor.
