Military Bootcamp
Each programme is a four week course with up to 16 sessions of fun intensive training that guarantees serious results FAST by incorporating a combination of cardiovascular, strength, flexibility, resistance, speed and agility exercises. It is a unique way to jump start your fitness and catapults you into rapid energized results.
You will perform activities including:
- BFA = Basic Fitness Assessment to gauge "where you are at" before, during and at the end of the course
- Squad Running, pack marching, stair climbs, soft sand interval jogging and hill training
- Push -ups, sit-ups, squats, lunges, prone & lateral bridging, military circuits, boxercise, ‘rifle drills’ and team strength challenges
- Specifically designed Mission Days to challenge the individual and team to achieve a set objective.
Military Bootcamp Rules & Regulations
When you sign up for Ignite’s Military Bootcamp you agree to abide by the Rules & Regulations that we have set in place. If you do not abide by these rules all members of your group will pay the penalty.
The most important rules are as follows:
- You must arrive at least 5 minutes prior to each session
- You must give your Instructor 8 hours notice if you are unable to attend a session
- You must wear your uniform to each session
- Your military Bootcamp T-shirt must be worn at all times
- You must always address your Instructors with the utmost respect
- You must not speak while an instructor is speaking
- Do not stop any given exercise unless you are told to stop by an instructor

Is Bootcamp safe?
Safety is a priority at Ignite. We take every precaution to ensure that you are safe at all times. All our instructors carry first aid kits and are trained to use them. We encourage every recruit to manage their own personal safety by wearing suitable exercise clothing, shoes and to maintain safe levels of hydration during exercise. Each recruit is required to complete a Recruit Enlistment Form and where necessary will be advised to obtain medical clearance prior to commencement. Please note that our instructors can prevent you from participating if they suspect any activity will be unsafe or dangerous for your health and wellbeing.
Who will your instructors be?
All Bootcamp instructors are qualified fitness professionals with the necessary fitness industry recognition and are known as competent providers of the Military Bootcamp Training program.
If I have friends that want to do Bootcamp with me, do I get a discount?
We do have provisions for group discounts however this is to be discussed at the time of enlistment. If a discount is given, it is a 'one off' which means if you return the next month the discount will need to be arranged again. If I miss a session can I make it up in another month?
The Bootcamp programme operates month by month and as a policy make up sessions are not permitted.
What do I need to bring to my Bootcamp training sessions?
You will need to wear comfortable workout gear with appropriate shoes you can run in. Also bring a full water bottle and a small towel for afterwards. You will be issued with an Ignite Bootcamp t-shirt on your first day (on subsequent Boot camps a t-shirt is not supplied unless requested)
If I choose not to continue with Ignite’s Bootcamp course, will I get a refund?
Once a course commences there are no refunds.
